COST ACCOUNTANT

Job Description:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of costing of product, operations reports & financial statements
• Key cost accounting work including periodic setting of standard costs for products and calculation of monthly variance;
• To perform analysis in Cost Variance and prepare costing reports
• Analyze revenue, cost and actively participate in reviews to improve manufacturing operations within the   group
• Maintenance of Internal Control Systems incompliance with corporate governance
• To maintain the Fixed Assets Register
• Work closely with the Inventory Controller in performing quarterly stock count and take steps the assist him in minimizing count variances
• Work closely with the Inventory Controller to monitor and control inventory holding to achieve optimal levels
• To perform month-end closing and generate reports for Management
• Assist in budgets’ forecasts
• Ad-hoc projects

Requirement:

• Qualified Accountant with Degree in Accounting or equivalent Professional qualifications
• Minimum 3 years experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
• Experience in EPICOR and manufacturing execution system would be an added advantage
• Possess strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the Organization
• Willingness to be hands-on
