Cost Audit Analyst

A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Cost Audit Analyst position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed invoice reviews, reconciliations, and issue documentation across assigned program scopes.
• Verify invoice details against system records, agreements, and master data to identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and classify issues such as cost code errors, rate mismatches, stay day errors, and SOP deviations.
• Maintain structured review files, evidence logs, and issue trackers for transparency and audit readiness.
• Escalate exceptions and recurring issues to management, supporting timely resolution.
• Prepare summaries of findings, recurring trends, and follow‑up status for management reporting.
• Contribute to SOP improvements, KPI tracking, and process enhancement initiatives.
• Support automation and data validation projects by organizing review logic and exception types.
• Manage assigned activities independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in accounting, audit, accounts payable, internal controls, compliance, shared services, or finance operations.
• Strong skills in reconciliation, supporting‑document checks, and structured issue documentation.
• Proficiency in Excel and data handling, with ability to manage detailed transaction data.
• Prior exposure to invoice validation, audit, accounts payable controls, or cost governance preferred.
