Credit Analyst, Corporate Banking - Trade Finance & Commodities

We are partnering with an international bank to hire a Credit Analyst to support relationship managers in managing corporate clients across the region.

This role will focus on credit analysis, transaction execution, and portfolio management, with strong exposure to trade finance, syndicated lending, and structured commodity financing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and prepare credit assessments for new and existing corporate clients
• Support structuring and execution of trade finance, commodity, and syndicated loan transactions
• Prepare credit applications, annual reviews, waiver requests, and term sheets
• Monitor covenant compliance, facility utilisation, and approval conditions across the portfolio
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Credit Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Front Office teams
• Ensure documentation and onboarding processes comply with internal policies, AML/KYC, and regulatory requirements
• Track portfolio deliverables, risk indicators, and reporting requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate banking
• Strong understanding of corporate credit, syndicated loans, trade finance products, and banking documentation
• Experience supporting commodity traders or structured trade transactions will be highly advantageous
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
