Credit Analyst (LW)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct credit analysis to assess corporate clients' financial performance, repayment capacity, and creditworthiness.
• Review and analyze financial statements, financial ratios, cash flow, and business performance.
• Prepare credit papers, financial models, and cash flow projections to support credit decisions.
• Perform industry and sector research (Aviation, Shipping, Financial Institutions, Middle Market, and General Corporates).
• Identify credit risks, recommend mitigating factors, and support credit approval submissions.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, and internal stakeholders throughout the credit approval process.
• Monitor borrower performance, financial covenants, and emerging credit risks.
• Ensure timely completion of credit reviews while maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Credit Analysis, Credit Risk, or Audit.
• Prior experience in credit writing within Corporate Banking is required.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, financial modelling, and credit risk assessment.
• Experience covering Middle Market, Financial Institutions, Shipping, Aviation, or General Corporate portfolios is advantageous.
• Good understanding of corporate lending structures, credit approval processes, and risk management.
• Strong analytical, communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English is required. Additional language proficiency may be beneficial where relevant to business needs.
