Credit Analyst (Up to 5K/ Central/ Bank)

Position Overview:

As a Junior Credit Analyst, you will play a vital role in evaluating the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and monitoring the credit risk of existing clients. Collaborating with experienced analysts, you will analyze financial data, assess loan applications, and contribute to informed credit decisions. Responsibilities:

• Assess the creditworthiness of corporate applicants by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential credit risks associated with loan requests.
• Assist in preparing detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval or rejection.
• Support senior analysts in conducting industry research and market analysis to inform credit decisions.
• Work closely with lending officers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation for credit evaluations.
• Monitor the credit performance of existing clients and identify early indicators of financial distress.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic credit reviews and portfolio reports for management review.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit analysis.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Candidates who hold a relevant degree but do not have prior experience are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in banking, finance, or credit analysis is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess credit risk effectively.
