Key Roles & Responsibilities
Payroll & Financial Administration
End-to-End Payroll: Generate and process accurate, timely payroll for crew members across the entire fleet.
Allotment Management: Verify, authorize, and process crew home allotment requests in compliance with company policies.
Claims & Reimbursements: Audit, verify, and facilitate the timely reimbursement of crew-related claims and expenses.
Crew Relations & Support
Query Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for crew members regarding salaries, remittances, reimbursements, and tax/banking inquiries, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with onboard senior officers and port agents to streamline payroll documentation.
Managerial Support
Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the Fleet Crewing Manager with administrative tasks, audits, and special crewing projects as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on crew manning or maritime payroll experience is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
Software: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel skills for payroll calculations).
Knowledge of maritime payroll software or crew management systems (CMS) is a strong advantage.
