Dealing Assistant (Career Progression to Licensed Dealer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Support: Assist Dealers in the daily execution of trades across various asset classes (Equities, ETFs, etc.) on the SGX and foreign markets.
• Client Management: Help team members to sold client enquiries regarding account status, trade confirmations, and market information, etc.
• Operational Excellence: Perform administrative duties including account opening, trade reconciliation, and ensuring all activities comply with MAS and SGX regulations.
• Market Monitoring: Keep abreast of market news, corporate actions, and financial trends to provide timely updates to the team and clients.
• Team Collaboration: Provide general administrative and operational support to the dealing desk to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

• Regulatory Qualifications: Must have already passed the CMFAS Examinations (M1a, M5, M6, and M6a). Candidates who have passed these modules will be prioritized for immediate licensing.
• Educational Background: A Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Market Passion: A genuine passion for stocks, shares, and the financial markets. You should be someone who enjoys helping investors grow their wealth.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Work Ethic: Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, show initiative, and maintain high accuracy under pressure.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with trading platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Fluent in Mandarin speaking and writing will be an advantage.
