Deputy Manager, Private Banking Operations

We are supporting a regional bank in the hire of an experienced Private Banking Operations professional to support end-to-end operational activities across a broad range of wealth management products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operational processing of investment products, including trade booking, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling
• Support the full investment lifecycle across products such as equities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, structured deposits, and private equity funds
• Handle corporate actions, including mandatory and voluntary events, client elections, and entitlement processing
• Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations, and investigate operational discrepancies
• Process deposits, remittances, and asset transfers
• Handle payment processing activities via SWIFT Alliance
• Generate trade advices, account statements, and operational reports
• Participate in system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process improvement initiatives
• Work closely with Front Office, Compliance, Finance, custodians, brokers, fund houses, and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues
• Support ad hoc projects and operational initiatives as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Private Banking Operations, Wealth Management Operations, or Investment Operations within the banking industry
• Good understanding of investment products and operational processes across the trade lifecycle
• Experience in trade settlement, corporate actions, reconciliations, and payment processing
• Familiarity with SWIFT payment processing
• Experience with Avaloq will be an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
