Key Responsibilities:

Group Reporting & Insurance Accounting:

• Group Reporting: Prepare and coordinate the completion of quarterly group consolidation reporting packages
• Consolidation of Branch Account
• Audit Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for both internal and independent external auditors by preparing comprehensive audit schedules
• IFRS 17 Compliance: Basic knowledge of IFRS 17 accounting standard

Regulatory Compliance & Corporate Tax:

• Statutory Returns: Prepare and submit statutory financial returns required by the MAS
• Taxation Management: Manage and oversee the accurate computation, filing, and deadlines for Corporate Tax, and withholding taxes

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• At least 4 to 6 years of financial accounting experience
• Actual job title and compensation will depend on the final candidate's experience level; salary stated in this posting serves strictly as a guide
• Knowledge in MAS insurance statutory frameworks
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Hands-on Oracle GL experience preferred
• Exposure to non-life re/insurance industry is an added bonus
• Strong analytical capabilities
