Director, Group Finance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

Strategic Finance & Budgeting

• Lead the cluster's budgeting and resource allocation framework.
• Develop funding models, manpower budgets, and financial plans.
• Oversee budgeting, consolidation, and financial reporting across institutions.

Healthcare Funding & Policy

• Translate national healthcare policies into financial and funding frameworks.
• Design and manage healthcare funding and payment models.
• Develop sustainable funding strategies for Population Health and Integrated Care programmes.

Financial Governance & Decision Support

• Establish financial governance, reporting standards, and accountability frameworks.
• Develop dashboards and management reports to support leadership decision-making.
• Advise management on financial implications, funding options, and strategic trade-offs.

Finance Transformation & Digital Health

• Lead finance transformation initiatives and leverage technology to improve productivity and insights.
• Oversee financial governance of digital health and IT projects, including budgeting, business case reviews, cost monitoring, and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive automation and standardisation of financial processes and reporting.

Stakeholder & Project Leadership

• Partner with clinical, operational, IT, and policy stakeholders to align funding with healthcare outcomes.
• Represent Finance in cluster-wide and national-level projects.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving funding, finance transformation, and governance.

Job Requirements

• Min Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
