Equity Analyst – Aviation & Transportation

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth equity research and provide investment recommendations on companies within the aviation and transportation sectors.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, perform company valuations, and analyse financial statements and industry trends.
• Produce high-quality research reports, sector updates, and investment insights for institutional and retail clients.
• Present investment ideas and communicate sector outlooks and stock recommendations to clients.
• Participate in company management meetings, site visits, client meetings, and industry events.
• Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic trends affecting the sector.
• Support ad hoc projects and other responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2–7 years of equity research experience covering Singapore and/or Malaysia markets.
• Experience in sell-side equity research is highly preferred. Buy-side candidates will be considered if they have strong experience conducting primary research and producing independent investment recommendations.
• Sector coverage in aviation and transportation is required, with exposure to companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and/or China.
• Strong financial modelling, company valuation, and financial statement analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present investment ideas clearly to clients.
• CFA Level I qualification or progress towards the CFA charter will be an advantage.
