The Company

Our client in the semiconductor industry is currently seeking a costing analyst to join their dynamic team.

The Role

The role involves conducting variance analysis and financial reporting by performing month-end closing activities, analyzing cost performance, and effectively communicating business impacts to operations management using SAP tools. The role includes presenting financial results to stakeholders, tailoring information to suit their needs, and participating in operational and balance sheet reviews. It also focuses on budgeting and forecasting, requiring independent coordination with stakeholders for forecasting and planning, analyzing data for budget and inventory projections, and providing insightful financial analyses to support decision-making. The role involves continuous improvement of financial analysis methods and tools. The responsibilities also include managing costing processes by overseeing the semiannual standard cost change process in SAP, collaborating cross-functionally to analyze cost changes, and presenting results for review and approval.

Your Profile

The candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field and brings at least 3 years of experience as a costing analyst, preferably within a manufacturing / semiconductor environment. They possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP, Power BI, Onestream, and TM1 planning systems as an added advantage.
