Biryani Concepts Pte. Ltd., a restaurant specializing in biryani and Indian cuisine, is seeking a proactive Event Manager to oversee and implement sales strategies that support the company’s business growth and market presence. The Event Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing partnerships with corporate clients and food delivery platforms, managing sales promotions and bulk order opportunities, monitoring sales performance, and preparing sales reports for management. The role also involves coordinating with the marketing and operations teams to promote the restaurant’s products and services, strengthen brand positioning, and ensure the achievement of the company’s overall sales objectives within the competitive food and beverage industry.
Specific Responsibilities
1. Manage customer inquiries for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services.
2. Coordinate with food delivery platforms (GrabFood, foodpanda) for menu updates and order management.
3. Maintain and update customer database and CRM records.
4. Assist in preparing and updating menus, sales materials, and promotional content.
5. Liaise with kitchen and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and service coordination.
6. Handle customer feedback and support service recovery processes.
7. Coordinate with the marketing team for promotion planning and execution across platforms.
8. Prepare basic sales activity summaries and customer engagement reports for management review.
9. Support corporate client engagement and maintain business relationships.
Technical Skills and Competencies
1. Knowledge of F&B sales operations and restaurant service workflows.
2. Proficiency in CRM systems for customer data management and tracking interactions.
3. Familiarity with food delivery platforms (GrabFood, foodpanda) and online ordering systems.
4. Ability to manage digital menus, pricing updates, and promotional content across platforms.
5. Understanding of customer service management and service recovery processes.
6. Skills in coordinating with kitchen, operations, and marketing teams for service execution.
7. Competence in preparing sales reports, customer activity summaries, and basic documentation.
8. Knowledge of marketing support activities including in-store and digital promotions.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, email communication, reporting templates).
