Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison officer between Japanese parent company and Singapore office
• Prepare monthly reports to be submitted to Japanese parent company
• Perform variance analysis of actual against plan/forecast
• Prepare documents for internal/external audit
• Prepare finance presentation materials and reports in Japanese for meetings in Japan HQ
• Communicate with local and Japanese banks on treasury and banking matters
• Advise on matters pertinent to the financial and legal systems in Japan
• Assist in launching Japanese parent company’s financial and accounting programs and initiatives
• Assist to translate financial and legal documents from Japanese to English and vice versa
• Any other duties to be assigned from time to time

Pre-requisites

• Minimum degree in Social Science or Finance or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Able to communicate effectively in Japanese language and English both orally and in writing as frequent liaising with Japanese parent company is expected
• Familiar with Japanese financial and legal frameworks
• Detail oriented and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
