Expert Corporate Controlling

Role Purpose:

A controller is a professional who oversees a company's finances, including its accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting and forecasting. He/She also help the company's leaders (Executive Board) to make financial decisions in order to improve the performance. He/She ensures high-quality reporting and discusses finances or review financial reports of the Exyte entities and GBUs. Corporate controllers also collaborate with the businesses' employees to explain and guide through financial policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participation in the month end and year end closing, as well as the Budget and Forecast planning on regional and GBU level. Consolidation of the group key figures (KPI).
• Support of the regional controlling departments through divination and verification of reporting standards.
• Contact person for the Exyte entities, as well as for the Global Business Units, in case of any questions related to reporting or controlling processes.
• Ensuring the quality of the project reporting through plausibility checks and project evaluation.
• Preparation of ad hoc analyses and special projects for Senior Vice President Controlling and Management Board.
• Preparation of analyses to Management Board focused on selling, general and administrative costs (SG&A) on entity level.
• Analysis of SEA SG&A cost centers and the development of the headcount numbers. Implementation of controlling measures to reduce the SG&A costs.
• Participation in the further development of the reporting and controlling processes as well as implementation of new requirements of the board in the reporting systems.
• Supporting internal projects e.g. OneERP project process improvements, Rate Cards etc.

Job Requirements:

• Several years (5-8) of professional experience in controlling, preferably in international industrial companies
• University degree in Finance (e.g. Master)
• Very good skills of MS Office and common PC-programs (Excel, BI, Power Point, Office 365, Tagetik). Knowledge of SAP S4
