Finance / Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:

The Finance /Accounts Assistant will support the finance team in day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The role involves processing supplier and customer transactions, maintaining accurate records in the accounting system, assisting in reconciliations, and supporting monthly closing, audits, and ad-hoc finance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and assist in vendor payments.
• Prepare and record accounting entries in the accounting system (SAP).
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks.
• Issue customer invoices and monitor outstanding balances.
• Assist in bank and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly closing activities.
• Extract and prepare financial reports from SAP.
• Maintain proper finance documentation and filing.
• Liaise with internal departments on finance-related matters.
• Support audits, stock takes, and other ad-hoc finance tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing working in East Region, Changi North Crescent.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
