Finance / Accounts Executive (AP/ Construction Industry/East Area)

About this company :

Singapore-based construction company involved in civil engineering and building-related projects. As they continue to grow, they are expanding their finance team and are looking for a dedicated Finance/Accounts Executive (AP) to join them.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounts payable functions and payment processing.

• Verify invoices, delivery orders, purchase orders and supporting documents.

• Ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time with proper approval.

• Prepare and update payment records, cash book and supplier accounts.

• Perform monthly creditors’ statement reconciliation.

• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on any discrepancies.

• Assist in GST reporting, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.

• Liaise with suppliers, internal departments and external parties on payment-related matters.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

• Support audit preparation and any ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• at least Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounts payable or accounting experience.

• Able to handle invoice checking, payment processing and supplier reconciliation.

• Meticulous, organised and able to meet deadlines.

• Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
