Finance Analyst

The Finance Analyst reports to the Senior Finance Manager while supporting the Deputy Finance Manager and Senior Finance Analyst, and is responsible for driving the operational accounting, financial analysis, reporting and compliance activities. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience across day-to-day critical financial accounting and analysis, treasury, and investment support to the team in liaison with both internal and external stakeholders. The role will require commercial acumen and the ability to communicate to and influence stakeholders from across the business. 

Given the dynamic nature of the business, below is a non-exhaustive list of deliveries expected from the candidate. However, it covers the foundation responsibilities and capabilities that are required for the candidate to be successful in role. 

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated management and financial reports and variance analysis including ad-hoc requests 

• Work closely and provide support to the wider finance team and other functions especially during month end and external audits and ensure accuracy of reporting. 

• Conduct data-driven and qualitative analysis to provide recommendations 

• Ensure compliance with both local legislation and procedures in all areas of accounting, tax, and finance operations.  This includes filing of GST, transfer pricing and other submissions as required by various authorities. 

• Support treasury operations in a multi-currency environment and cash management for entities in the region 

• Liaise and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including external auditors, tax agents, advisors, and partners etc.  

• Input to business optimization projects, identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
