Finance & BackOffice Bullion Settlement Manager

Job Scope

• Experienced in Precious Metals and Bullion Settlement transactions, settlements, and audit requirements (Swaps / Physical / Forwards settlements)
• Instructing and collaborating with product engineering teams to implement, test and launch new initiatives.
• Perform full-spectrum accounting functions, including month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, GST submissions, stock-takes, and preparation of financial statements, budgets, and tax filings.
• Ensure compliance and timely reporting, adhering to accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies,with accurate financial and management reports submitted according to schedule.
• Manage and close the accounting books of related companies and support ad hoc assignments and new projects as required.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Relevant experience in bullion settlement or structured financial products is required.
• Minimum of 4 -5 years experience.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCAis preferred.
• Strong understanding of MFRS, IFRS and IAS.
• Proficiency in understanding and application ofrelevant accounting standards for hedging transactions accounting in forex, precious metals, commodities or other derivatives contracts.
• Possess good organisational, administrativeskills and time-management abilities.
