We are seeking a Finance & Compliance Manager to oversee financial management, compliance frameworks, internal controls, and risk management across the organisation.

Role Overview

The Finance & Compliance Executive is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory, legal, and internal compliance requirements. This role will oversee financial reporting, audit coordination, risk management, policy implementation, and governance processes to support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Manage regular financial reporting
• Oversee bank account reconciliations and invoicing
• Commission Statement preparation
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting requirements
• Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to management

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks and procedures
• Coordination with Compliance vendor
• Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions

Internal Controls & Governance

• Strengthen internal control processes to mitigate operational and financial risks
• Ensure proper segregation of duties and approval workflows
• Maintain company policies, SOPs, and compliance register

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with accountants, auditors, regulators and legal advisor
• Support leadership with financial and compliance-related reporting and analysis

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in finance, audit, risk, or compliance roles
• Prior experience in financial institution preferred
• CPA, ACCA, CIA, CAMS, or equivalent certifications are advantageous

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and compliance regulations
• Experience with internal controls, audits, and risk management
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and governance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
