Finance Business Partner (Govt Project)

This role offers a good blend of Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, and process improvement, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy working closely with the business while influencing financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Financial Analysis

• Partner with business units and project managers to provide financial analysis and support business decisions.
• Conduct business reviews, analyse financial performance, and recommend improvements.
• Perform scenario analysis, business case evaluations, and resource planning.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Financial Planning & Reporting

• Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, analyse budget versus actual performance, and explain key variances.
• Prepare accruals, budget transfers, and support financial reporting requirements.

Financial Operations & Governance

• Support purchase order administration, fixed asset transfers, and budget management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and internal controls.
• Respond to finance-related queries and provide support to business stakeholders.

Projects & Process Improvement

• Participate in finance system enhancements, UAT, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support strategic finance projects and other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• Singaporean only 
• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
