Finance Controller (MedTech Industry)

Our client in the MedTech industry, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Finance Controller.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Management

• Lead finance activities for the company and its portfolio companies, focusing on cash budgeting and projections.
• Ensure effective cash flow management and optimize working capital utilization.

Corporate Administration

• Manage administrative tasks, including coordinating with corporate secretaries for share issuance and reviewing shareholder agreements.
• Draft and oversee shareholder agreements and share subscription agreements.

FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)

• Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification, to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, providing insights into financial performance and future financial health.

Project Monitoring and Grant Management

• Monitor project progress for portfolio companies, specifically tracking government grant utilization.
• Liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance with grant requirements and maximize funding opportunities.

Accounting and Audit Oversight

• Maintain full sets of accounts for the company and its portfolio companies using XERO accounting software.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Coordinate financial audits to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or ACCA, with CA / CPA
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, experience in managing the finance functions and stakeholder engagement.
• Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements, particularly in Singaporean regulatory environment.
• Experience in managing finance functions for multiple entities or portfolio companies is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations.
• Candidates with audit experiences from top accounting/audit firms will be considered.

• Location: West (Near MRT)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
• Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
