Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support financial operations within our logistics business. The role involves managing accounting functions related to freight operations and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) to ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare payments and perform bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy and cash flow integrity
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports to support management decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements to uphold financial integrity
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries
• Liaise with internal teams (operations, procurement, sales) to gather and verify financial data for accurate reporting
• Monitor and improve financial processes related to logistics transactions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment to maintain smooth financial operations
• Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently to achieve financial objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in logistics or supply chain industry and knowledge of CargoWise is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and manage financial data
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Integrity and accountability in handling financial information
• Strong problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies and process improvements
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Team collaboration skills to work productively with cross-functional teams
