Finance Executive

Responsibilities

We're looking for someone with solid finance skills and a collaborative mindset to help scale our operations. You'll support full-spectrum finance functions –from accounting and reporting to ERP administration etc.

Scope of responsibilities

Financial Accounting and Reporting

• Maintain accurate GL records and ensure timely posting of entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet,Cash Flow).
• Perform regular reconciliations (bank, inventory, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Ensure and work with external consultants to ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements (e.g. ACRA, IRAS – GST and Income Tax, CPF Board).
• Maintain audit trails and support external auditors during statutory audits.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process supplier invoices, verify purchase orders (POs), delivery orders (DOs), and GRNs.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors, manage payment runs, and maintain relationships.
• Manage petty cash and employee expense claims.
• Monitor outstanding payables and aging reports.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Generate and send customer invoices based on project milestones or delivery completion.
• Track collections and follow up on overdue payments.
• Manage customer credit terms and limits.
• Maintain AR aging reports and provision for doubtful debts if needed.

ERP / Accounting System Administration and Internal Controls

• Support the development of policies/SOPs and enforce internal controls on payments and procurement.
• Work with the team to define ERP process flows, e.g. approvals, invoice matching, document controls.
• Ensure integration with procurement, inventory,and sales modules.
• Maintain chart of accounts and system integrityin software.

Financial Planning & Business Support

• Support the preparation of annual operating budgets in coordination with department heads.
• Track actuals vs budget (variance analysis).
• Assist in other business matters, e.g. strategic projects, government grant applications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing domain
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in ERP or accounting software
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
