Finance Executive (Accounts Payable)

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure invoices and claims are accounted in a timely and accurate manner
• Resolve any invoicing and payment related issues with procurement, operations and external suppliers
• Handle bank reconciliation and vendor's reconciliation
• Accountable for timely payment processing for suppliers’ invoices, employee claims, patients refunds etc.
• Maintenance of cash book
• Month-end closing, reconciliation to GL and assist senior accountant in preparation of reports for management reporting
• Participate in accounts payable process and system improvement
• Provide assistance on requests for AIC, MOH or other financial audits
• Any other ad-hoc duties or projects assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma / University degree or equivalent in Accountancy or Finance
• 3 or more years of relevant work experience in accounts payable and/or general accounting experience
• Independent and good team player with pleasant personality
• Good communication skills with positive working attitude
• Good knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel
• Able to handle large volume of invoices
• Independent, hands-on and able to work in a humble setting
• Knowledge of InfoCare accounting software and GST reporting would be an added advantage
