Finance Executive (Accounts Payable Hybrid working arrangement) - Tuas

About Our Client:

• One of the well known company which is specializing in wholesale & distribution of industrial machines
• Working Hour: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Location: Tuas Avenue (Company transport is provided at Tuas Crescent MRT)
• Salary Package: Basic $2,800 - $3,800
• Hybrid working arrangement available after probation
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure adherence to Accounts Payable processes and policies within the organization.
• Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance and support to AP assistants.
• Enhance and optimize Accounts Payable workflows and payment procedures continually.
• Manage AP invoice processing, including verification, coding, data entry, and approval.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and input them into the ERP system.
• Identify and address any anomalies found during invoice processing.
• Handle staff claims through the e-claim portal.
• Manage payment processing, including verification and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct monthly payment runs for suppliers and employees.
• Prepare standard journal entries related to Accounts Payable.
• Ensure timely completion of financial closing tasks and maintain processing accuracy.
• Perform monthly supplier and inter-company reconciliations.
• Maintain organized document filing systems.
• Reconcile bank statements for payments.
• Prepare AP-related balance sheet schedules.
• Address inquiries from suppliers.
  

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent/relevant education in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant AP experience.
• Proficient in MS applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Meticulous and numerically inclined.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant and outgoing personality with the initiative to provide assistance to colleagues.
• Independent, reliable, organized, and attentive to details.
• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency to deliver results in a timely manner.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX system.
