Finance Executive (AP,GL)

Job Responsibilities: 

Accounts Payable, General Ledger and costing functions.

•  Accounts Payable function (Main)

• Checking/auditing/follow up of employee expense claims

• Matching/validating/booking of all suppliers including interco/intraco invoices/credit notes

• Prepare journals for allocation of supplier invoices (Singtel, CWT, Cabcharge)

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (eg. Supply chain, procurement, employees) on claims or supplier related issues as and when necessary

 General Ledger and costing function

• Prepare journals for standard accruals, subsequent reversals of accruals

• Monitor and release to P&L on expenses charged to Prepayment accounts and prepare balance sheet schedules

• Monitor and management employees on their hours clocking submission in the system

• Support team in cost centre reporting

Other support activities

• Assist and support team in providing information requested by external auditor and JSOX auditor

• Backup team member as and when needed

Job qualifications and requirements:

• Diploma, major in Finance and Accounting

• At least 3 years experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger

• Proficient in ERP system such as SAPbyDesign is a plus

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

• Team player, self-driven, keen attention to detail

• An analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills

• Positive attitude with strong sense of integrity and responsibility

• 1 year renewable contract with full benefits + completion bonus
