Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Chemical
• Position Title: Finance Executive (Costing)/ Costing Executive
• Working Location: Tanjong Penjuru (Company transport provided at Buona Vista/ Jurong East)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5.15 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $6,200 + Transport Allowance + AWS + Variable Bonus + Insurance
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for product costing and cost analysis
• Perform month-end closing activities and reporting
• Perform year-end activities such as inventory stock take, update SAP activity rates, budgeting and statutory financial statement audit matters
• Prepare cost statements, documents and liaise with Custom on Free Trade Agreement matters, annual & ad hoc basis for new products
• Perform product cost simulations and provide cost information/reports for use by management and various departments in making business decisions
• Safeguard company’s assets and perform annual assets check
• Review and manage inventory at optimal level
• Monthly review of Sales and Margin to identify drivers (vol, price, mix etc) of Gross Margin performance and prepare reports
• Manage and improve freight cost reporting process
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Programs
• Work on ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned

• At least a Diploma in Accountancy
• Minimum 3 years of costing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Audit experience will be an added advantage
• Preferably those with knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system & MS Excel
