About the Company

Our client is an established healthcare organisation known for its strong focus on operational excellence, service quality, and continuous improvement. The organisation plays a key role in delivering services to support critical operations across multiple entities.

As part of its ongoing growth and transformation initiatives, the organisation is seeking a Finance Executive, General Ledger (Grants) to strengthen its finance operations team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team in managing day-to-day grant accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing, and the preparation of audit schedules.

• Prepare and review grant-related balance sheet accounts, GST, corporate tax, and other statutory submissions, while liaising with auditors on audit matters.

• Review grant documents, apply appropriate accounting treatments, maintain project accounts, and ensure timely closure of completed projects.

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of grant claims, monitor grant fund receipts, review billings, and resolve unreconciled balances.

• Drive process improvement initiatives, and support ad-hoc assignments as required.

Key Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead capacity.

• Experience in grant accounting, financial reporting, or shared services environments will be advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; hands-on experience with SAP and prior audit exposure will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
