Finance Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Finance Intern to support the Finance team in daily accounting and finance operations across our F&B outlets. This internship offers hands-on exposure to finance functions in a fast-paced environment, providing valuable real-world experience in accounting, reporting and financial administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices, receipts and payment records.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Match purchase invoices against delivery orders and supporting documents.
• Prepare payment schedules and monitor outstanding invoices.
• Perform outlet sales reconciliation and verify daily sales reports.
• Assist with petty cash reconciliation and expense claims.
• Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Maintain proper filing of finance documents, both physical and digital.
• Liaise with outlets and vendors to follow up on missing documents or discrepancies.
• Prepare reports, data compilation and other ad hoc finance assignments.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Meticulous, organised and willing to learn.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Able to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship or accounting knowledge is an advantage.
