Job summary

This role will oversee financial reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, lead budgeting & forecasting processes & monitor performance.

Job Scope

1. Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze Financial performance and prepare reports.

2. Accounting and Reporting

• Oversee accounting processes and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare group financial statements and ensure compliance with regulations.

3. Cash Flow Management

• Monitor cash flow and manage company funds.

4. Cost Control

• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses.

5. Team Management

• Lead and supervise the finance team.
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff.

6. Liaison

• Communicate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.

7. Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial laws and company policies.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and standards.

Requirement

• Only Singaporean/PR, Malaysian/NAS Work Permit holders, or local graduate bonded for local employment due to MoM quota limitation.
• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent, ACCA.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, forecasts, and reports to make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in creating budgets and financial forecasts
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
