Finance Manager

Job Overview:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our game distribution company. You will be responsible for managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Your strategic insights and financial expertise will drive decision-making and contribute to the long-term success and profitability of our organization in the gaming industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

2. Develop and maintain financial models, metrics, and KPIs to evaluate business performance, assess risks, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management review and external stakeholders.

4. Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

5. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations and tax laws.

6. Lead the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning initiatives, collaborating with department heads and senior management to align financial goals with strategic objectives.

7. Analyse financial data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and business growth.

8. Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance guidelines.

9. Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management activities, optimizing cash resources and investment strategies to support business operations and growth initiatives.

10. Mentor and develop finance team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and excellence.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

· Proven experience in finance management roles, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.

· Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting principles and practices.

· Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) required.

· Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) preferred.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
