Finance Manager (Consumer Services)

Our client is a leading operator in the Consumer Services industry, managing a network of centers across the region. Due to business needs, they are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central Region.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

Overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for the company's Singapore entities. This includes financial reporting, statutory audits, tax compliance, cash flow management, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards. The role also supports the Regional Financial Controller in driving group audit initiatives across multiple business units and markets.

Financial Accounting &Reporting

• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor financial performance by analysing profitability, costs, trends, and budget variances across gym operations.

Audit & Compliance

• Lead external audits for Singapore entities and coordinate with external auditors across regional markets, including Thailand.
• Support group audit activities by collaborating with regional finance teams and external audit firms.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Tax & Treasury

• Manage corporate tax filings, tax planning, payroll tax, and statutory submissions.
• Oversee cash flow management and support capital financing initiatives.

Process Improvement

• Drive improvements in financial reporting, month-end closing, and shared services processes.
• Enhance AP/AR workflows to improve efficiency and shorten reporting timelines.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives and implement best practices across the finance function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA, ICA, CPA, or equivalent).
• 6–7 years of finance and accounting experience, including external audit experience gained in a leading accounting firm.
• Minimum 2–3 years of managerial experience leading accounting or audit teams
