Finance Manager (M&A & Tax)

Client is a Chinese listed company in Power & Energy industry looking for Finance Manager specializing in M&A and Taxation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage M&A projects from inception through integration, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and closing.
• Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis to support potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Prepare and present comprehensive M&A proposals and reports to senior management and the board of directors.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for M&A transactions, considering the specific tax regulations of each region involved.
• Ensure compliance with all regional tax laws and regulations during the M&A process.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks associated with acquisitions, disposals, and restructuring activities.
• Stay current with regional tax legislation changes and their potential impact on the business.
• Provide regional tax expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders and M&A project teams.
• Liaise with regional tax authorities and regulatory bodies as required.
• Develop and implement integration plans for acquired entities, focusing on tax and financial integration.
• Monitor post-transaction performance and ensure the realization of projected synergies and tax benefits.
• Support post-transaction audits and reviews as necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree
• At least 3 years of experience
• Candidates with Big 4 background preferred
