Finance Manager (Real Estate Private Funds)

A leading global real asset investment manager is seeking an experienced finance professional to support its growing Private Funds platform across Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the finance activities for private real estate and alternative investment funds across Asia Pacific.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
• Perform financial analysis and explain variances in business performance.
• Prepare consolidated accounts for funds, subsidiaries, joint ventures and associates.
• Work closely with fund managers on budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Prepare investor reports and support Group reporting requirements.
• Manage treasury and cash flow activities.
• Oversee statutory financial reporting, audits, tax and GST compliance.
• Support fund accounting activities, including NAV, distributions and waterfall calculations.
  Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy with CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 6 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong experience in financial consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Experience in private equity real estate funds, REITs or fund management is preferred.
• Knowledge of fund accounting, including NAV and waterfall calculations.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP or IBM Cognos Controller is an advantage.
