Financial & Business Controller

This position will be responsible for supporting Managing Director and CFO to drive business growth and profitability through financial planning, analysis and reporting.

Tasks and duties

· Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities‌ and areas for improvement

· Align financial decisions with the strategic objectives of the Company

· Establish budgets and financial forecasts to guide strategic planning activities

· Assess financial performance against targets and providing insights

· Work collaboratively across departments/business units to align financial strategies with business goals and help shape strategies and resource allocation decisions

· Lead financial plan and prepare financial reports presenting to management and stakeholders

· Build standard of procedures to ensure corporate governance and best practices and ensure statutory compliance

· Bachelor’s degree in Economic / Business Administration or related discipline

· Exceptional people and business leadership in developing Accounting / Finance team and driving business performance

· A qualified accountant preferably CPA with over 10 years leadership experience in business controlling and shared service field in sizable MNCs with manufacturing and trading operations in multiple regions

· Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound business decisions

· Strong stakeholders' management, excellent communication with C-level

· Fluent in English and at least one of Asian languages to best communicate with stakeholders and strategic distributors/customers across regions

• Prior exposure in setting up legal entities within the region

· Strong business acumen and learning agility

· Knowledge and experience of Consolidated Financial Report and Data Analysis

· Hands on ERP implementation, familiar with SAP, R3 and/or D265 etc

· Good Excel and PPT skills including Pivot Table
