Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

The FP&A Analyst support the FP&A team in ensuring the I&E is accurate, all accruals are accounted for and any miscodings are corrected. The purpose of the FP&A function is to partner with IB’s leaders and teams to plan (budget), forecast and analyze their activities and to provide proactive financial advice on all related matters.

Monthly Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparation of monthly I&E reports and delivery to budget holders on timely basis, including analysing the variances between actual & budget
• Ensure accruals are posted and correct coding of I&E entries
• Prepare monthly income and expense accruals
• Obtaining & reviewing non-financial data which supports the financial information

Monthly Forecast

• Assist with preparation, analysis & risk assessment of monthly forecast submission.
• Provision of timely & accurate forecast information to global finance in line with reporting timetables.
• Assist in preparing and consolidating annual budget submission.

Reporting and analytical tools

• Usage of Smartview tool to generate data and reports for consolidation

Accountability

• Complete standard templates for monthly reports as required
• Consolidation of data for analytical work
• Ensure accuracy of data input in Oracle
• Support Associate Manager in driving the new improvement initiatives in work processes

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in accounting, business or finance, or Diploma with proven experience
• Ability to meet objectives & deadlines while assigned to multiple tasks & to work with limited supervision.
• Dynamic, proactive, able to work under pressure, reliable, team spirit & interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written & oral, with individuals from across the organisation
