Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to support group-level financial planning, budgeting, and business performance management across our regional operations. This role sits at the intersection of finance, business partnering, and data-driven decision-making, requiring someone who can translate financial data into actionable insights while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions. You will play a key role in strengthening budgeting processes, enhancing financial visibility, and supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Support the preparation and coordination of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial planning activities. Partner with business and functional teams to develop robust planning assumptions, budget submissions, and driver-based forecasting models.
• Performance Analysis & Cost Management: Analyse financial performance, cost structures, and key business drivers, preparing management reports, budget variance analysis, and actionable insights to support cost optimisation and business performance.
• Business Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, HR, Technology, Operations, and business teams to coordinate budgeting activities, provide financial analysis, and support informed business decisions across multiple functions.
• Management Reporting & Data Insights: Develop and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and presented in a meaningful way for management decision-making.
• Process Improvement & Financial Systems: Support the continuous improvement of budgeting processes, financial planning frameworks, and reporting tools by partnering with data and BI teams to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and financial governance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience & Background: 5–10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, business finance, or related finance functions. Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and business performance analysis within financial services, fintech, or other fast-paced industries is preferred.
• Financial Planning & Analytical Skills: Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, variance analysis, and performance reporting, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide practical business insights.
• Business Partnership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate financial information clearly to support business planning and decision-making.
• Systems & Continuous Improvement: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in working with financial systems, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms. Experience improving financial reporting processes, dashboards, or planning frameworks is advantageous.
• Education & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA, or equivalent are advantageous. Strong English proficiency is required to support collaboration across regional teams. Written and spoken Chinese proficiency is required to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across Chinese-speaking markets.
