Forex (FX) Analyst

Location: Jurong East, West Region, Singapore

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FX Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in foreign exchange markets, with a strong background in economics or finance. The FX Analyst will be responsible for analysing market trends, developing trading strategies, and providing insights to support our trading operations.

Job Description

· Conduct in-depth analysis of FX markets, including economic indicators, geopolitical events, and market trends.

· Develop and implement trading strategies based on market analysis.

· Monitor global economic events and assess their impact on FX markets.

· Provide timely and accurate market insights and recommendations to the trading team.

· Collaborate with other analysts and traders to develop comprehensive market reports.

· Utilise quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to forecast market movements.

· Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

· Stay updated with the latest developments in FX markets and financial instruments.

Job Requirement:

· Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as an FX Analyst or in a similar role within the financial services industry.

· Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, trading strategies, and financial instruments.

· Proficient in financial modelling and quantitative analysis.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· Proficient in using trading platforms and financial analysis software.

· Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the FX market.

· Experience with algorithmic trading and quantitative trading strategies.
