Full Set Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Full Set Accountant to manage the company's full spectrum of accounting and finance functions. The successful candidate will ensure timely financial reporting, maintain accurate accounting records, and support the company's financial operations while ensuring compliance with Singapore accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare GST returns and ensure timely submission to the relevant authorities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, corporate secretaries, and relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Process payroll and CPF submissions where required.
• Support annual audit and tax filing processes.
• Assist in improving accounting procedures and internal processes.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience handling full set accounts.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Mandarin is required as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking company leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and CPF submissions.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or AutoCount.
