Fund Accountant

We are partnering with a growing private credit investment firm headquartered in Singapore, focused on providing tailored financing solutions across Asia-Pacific. The firm manages diversified credit strategies and is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Fund Accountant to support its expanding fund operations platform.

Position Overview

The Fund Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting, reporting, and operational activities across private credit funds and related investment vehicles. This role will work closely with investment, operations, compliance, auditors, fund administrators, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth fund operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of fund accounting activities for private credit funds and SPVs
• Review NAV calculations, capital account statements, and investor allocations prepared by fund administrators
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/SFRS standards
• Monitor investment transactions including loan drawdowns, repayments, interest accruals, fee calculations, and reconciliations
• Assist with fund closings, capital calls, and distribution processes
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, custodians, and administrators during audit and reporting cycles
• Support portfolio valuation processes and maintain supporting documentation
• Prepare management reports, fund performance summaries, and investor reporting packages
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulatory requirements and internal controls
• Assist in improving fund accounting processes, operational workflows, and system implementations
• Support ad hoc finance and operational projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 3–5 years of fund accounting/Big 4 audit experience within the Private Equity/Private Credit space
• Strong understanding of fund structures, investment accounting, and financial reporting standards
• Experience working with fund administrators and external auditors
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
