Fund Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our agile and collaborative team at a licensed fund management company in Singapore. While the core focus of this role is fund accounting and operational oversight, there will be involvement in regulatory compliance matters. While prior experience in fund operations is advantageous, we are open to candidates with around 2 years of work experience who are keen to build a career in fund accounting and operations. A strong willingness to learn and an interest in buy-side operations will be key differentiators.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to the mechanics of fund management, including NAV calculations, trade and cash reconciliations, corporate actions, and coordination with administrators, custodians, and brokers. Key Responsibilities

Fund Accounting & Operations

1. Perform daily and monthly NAV/P&L calculations across multi-asset portfolios (equities, FX, derivatives).
2. Reconcile trades, positions, and cash with fund administrators, custodians, and brokers.
3. Track and process corporate actions, dividends, and expense accruals.
4. Monitor fund flows, capital movements, and assist with investor reporting.
5. Maintain accurate fund data and liaise with counterparties to resolve breaks or discrepancies.
6. Provide support on compliance-related processes, such as assisting with onboarding/KYC documentation, maintaining policy records, and coordinating regulatory filings under MAS guidelines.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree with ~2 years of work experience
2. Familiarity with financial instruments (listed equities, FX, futures, options).
3. Knowledge of MAS regulatory environment is a plus, but not mandatory.
4. Strong attention to detail, Excel proficiency; VBA/Bloomberg/Python exposure is a plus.
5. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
