Fund Accountant (PE)

A well-established fund administration firm with a growing private markets practice is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their PE fund accounting accounting team. You will be take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while progressing within a firm that invests meaningfully in its people.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end fund accounting for PE and VC funds, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and accruals
• Prepare Capital Account Statements, Capital Call and Distribution notices
• Produce Financial Statements and quarterly reporting packages for fund clients
• Build and maintain waterfall and equalisation models
• Liaise with auditors and lead year-end audit support
• Support onboarding of new fund launches and system implementation projects
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
• Assist with AML, FATCA, and CRS compliance and reporting
• Serve as a key point of contact for client relationships, collaborating across cross-functional service teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CA (Singapore) or CPA qualification is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of PE fund accounting experience, ideally within a fund administrator or similar environment
• Solid grounding in PE fund structures, waterfall mechanics, and equalisation
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and relevant accounting standards
• Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under deadline pressure
