YOUR IMPACT

As an Associate within Asset Servicing, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day processing and management of voluntary income and corporate action events across global markets. You will partner closely with colleagues across Operations, Engineering, Risk, and Client Coverage to ensure accurate and timely event execution while maintaining a strong control environment.

You will be responsible for managing complex and time-sensitive events, identifying and escalating risks, and contributing to initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce manual processing, and enhance client outcomes.

This role offers broad exposure to global markets, complex event types, and opportunities to develop both technical expertise and operational knowledge within a highly regulated environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of corporate actions and income events across global markets
  • Maintain a strong control environment through proactive risk identification, escalation, and resolution
  • Deliver high-quality service to internal and external clients through effective event management and communication
  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Contribute to operational excellence through continuous process review and control enhancement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Processing & Operations

  • Manage the end-to-end processing of voluntary income and corporate action events across equity and fixed income products
  • Ensure events, elections, entitlements, and payments are processed accurately and within market deadlines
  • Investigate and resolve exceptions, breaks, and client queries in a timely manner
  • Monitor daily workflows to identify risks, bottlenecks, and processing concerns

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Front Office, Risk, and Client Coverage teams to ensure successful event execution
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate issues, risks, and operational impacts clearly and concisely
  • Support client servicing activities by providing timely and accurate event information

Functional & Technical Expertise

  • Develop strong product knowledge across the corporate actions lifecycle, including event setup, elections, reconciliations, and entitlements
  • Support resolution of complex event scenarios through investigation and root cause analysis
  • Contribute to new business initiatives, process changes, and market or regulatory developments
  • Actively share knowledge and best practices across the team

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processing
  • Support implementation of automation, workflow enhancements, and improved controls
  • Participate in transformation initiatives and testing activities where required
  • Leverage data and metrics to identify trends and support process improvements

Client Focus

  • Deliver a high standard of service to internal and external clients
  • Manage client-sensitive events with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail
  • Proactively identify and address potential client impacts arising from market or operational changes

Risk Management & Control

  • Adhere to established controls, procedures, and governance requirements
  • Escalate operational risks and issues promptly and appropriately
  • Support audits, reviews, and remediation activities
  • Contribute to strengthening the control framework through continuous challenge and process improvement

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Asset Servicing or a related securities operations function
  • Good understanding of corporate actions and income processing across equity and/or fixed income products
  • Experience operating within a controlled, high-risk operational environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against deadlines
  • Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders across functions and regions

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED

  • Experience supporting automation, workflow optimisation, or transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to data analysis and operational metrics
