Apple’s H2R Compensation Services Team is seeking a Global Program Manager to support the long term strategy and execution of global tax, withholding and statutory benefits. Finance is essential to upholding our global commitment to excellence, and it is directly responsible for shaping the company’s future. Responsibilities
Responsible for auditing and reconciling global tax data, calculations, fillings and payments.
Research Global laws and regulations regarding taxes, withholding and statutory benefits.
Ensure compliance with Global, Federal, State, and Local tax rules for the US, Australia, New Zealand and Philippines.
Independently liaise and develop working relations with tax and government authorities to support tax, fringe benefit and social social insurance compliance and audit matters.
Work with global finance teams and ADP to ensure timely and accurate submission of periodic global, federal, state, and local tax calculations, filings and deposits/payments for all entities; including production, reconciliations and amendments to agency reports and employee tax forms.
Process government rebates/ reimbursements
Investigate, analyze and respond timely and accurately to tax inquiries, audits and payments from both internal customers and external agencies / government authorities.
Co-ordinate with consultants on international assignees shadow payrolls and tax reporting
Audit end to end expat processing and global reporting to Deloitte.
Ensure tax compliance for employees holding Visas.
Act as payroll consultant to business partner teams and employees on payroll legislation, government regulations and taxation.
Ensure completeness of reportable income and benefits in compliance with legislation.
Ensure processes and related systems’ configurations comply with SOX and internal controls, as well as local country, collective bargaining and company-specific pay policies and local tax legislation
Collaborates with key global business stakeholders to analyze root cause of individual transaction exceptions and provide solutions to upstream processes that will prevent future issues.
Develop structured approach to maintaining up to date process documentation to support key global business tasks and SOX controls.
MInimum Qualifications
5-8 years experience in Accounting or Finance working across multiple services
Extensive expertise with Tax, SAP and ADP
Skilled in process mapping, and analysis of as-is and to-be processes
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Obsess over the customer experience and view each and every inquiry as an opportunity to care and support others; able to create methods to keep an eye on quality without missing key deadlines.
Can navigate highly complex business needs without a clearly defined path and where you see a need, to bring a well thought solution; able to create methods to keep an eye on quality without missing key deadlines.
Ability to perform robust global business process analysis, recommend and execute solutions that are efficient and eliminate non-value add work.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels.
Proven track record to engage, interact, communicate and influence effectively across the organization, external partners, vendors and regulatory agencies.
Applies advanced technology and tools in the analysis, design and development of complicated reports to meet the needs of regulatory agencies and business partners.
Competent and experienced in respective supported countries’ tax, social security, employment regulations and practices.
