The Company
We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager with insurance experience to support our client, a leading player in the Insurance industry. This is a 6 months contract.
The Role
• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Prepare and review MAS regulatory returns.
• Manage and support GST-related reporting requirements.
• Draft accounting papers and technical memos for management and audit purposes.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (auditors, tax, business units) to keep reporting on track.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and MAS on reporting queries and regulatory requests.
• Support corporate tax return preparation and related filings.
• Step into an established process quickly, with minimal ramp-up
Your Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CA Singapore, or equivalent) preferred.
• At least 6–8 years of relevant financial reporting experience, including prior exposure to a managerial or team-lead capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with MAS reporting requirements.
• Solid understanding of GST.
• Prior experience within the insurance industry is fundamental.
• Confident, clear communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally and with senior stakeholders.
