Job Summary

As a Futures Trader specializing in agriculture, you will lead the development of trading strategies and execution for agricultural commodity arbitrage, manage trading positions, analyze market data, and identify investment opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement commodity arbitrage trading strategies for agricultural products, focusing on China vs Global markets
• Take full ownership of arbitrage trading for agricultural and commodity futures, including offshore and onshore products such as grains, vegetable oils, and soybeans
• Organize and consolidate business segment holdings and monitor brokerage bank funds and monthly positions to ensure accurate trading records
• Communicate timely updates on trading positions and funds to the trading supervisor
• Collect, organize, and analyze industry data and market trends within the agricultural sector to prepare detailed research reports
• Identify and evaluate valuable investment opportunities in the agricultural commodities market to support revenue generation

Competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in futures or securities finance, with expertise in futures or commodities arbitrage and a proven P&L track record
• Demonstrated market insight with strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills applied to trading and research activities
• Effective communication, coordination, and execution skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Initiative, responsibility, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through independent trading decisions and teamwork
• Ability to thrive in diverse work environments and manage work pressure effectively
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related fields
