Job Summary

You will lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and SGX-NET reporting, manage budgeting and forecasting, support finance teams locally and overseas, and drive process improvements to ensure accurate financial management for a listed company.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly consolidated financial statements to ensure accurate group financial reporting
• Prepare half-yearly SGX-NET result announcements and annual reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Review and analyze subsidiaries’ monthly management accounts to identify financial trends and variances
• Manage the group budgeting process and forecasts to support strategic financial planning
• Guide and support finance and accounting staff locally and overseas to enhance team performance and accuracy
• Participate in systems implementation and process improvement initiatives to optimize financial operations
• Prepare management reports for dormant entities to maintain regulatory compliance
• Undertake ad hoc projects to address emerging financial and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Accounting degree from an accredited university with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in a listed company
• Consolidation experience and knowledge of SGX-NET reporting requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Working knowledge of fundamental accounting and taxation issues
• SAP knowledge and audit experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive work attitude
• Ability to start work within short notice
