Group Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for the overall financial management of the Group, including:

·      Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions for multiple companies.

·      Prepare monthly management accounts, consolidated financial statements, and Board reports.

·      Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

·      Lead Group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.

·      Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

·      Manage GST, corporate tax, and liaise with tax agents and IRAS.

·      Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and fixed assets.

·      Manage banking facilities, project financing, loans, foreign exchange, and cash flow.

·      Coordinate annual statutory audits and strengthen internal controls.

·      Lead ERP/Kintone system improvements and finance digitalisation projects.

·      Support corporate governance, company secretarial matters, and overseas entities.

·      Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational excellence.

Requirements

·      Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

·      Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage.

·      Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.

·      At least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.

·      Experience managing multiple companies or group consolidation is highly preferred.

·      Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and corporate taxation.

·      Familiarity with ERP systems such as Kintone, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar.

·      Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·      Experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or construction industries will be advantageous.
