Group Finance Manager

The Role:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will manage and lead the Group’s finance and accounting team, strengthening the finance pillar and supporting business growth. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Group Finance Manager to join our dynamic team during this period of accelerated growth.

Role Summary:

· Lead the Group’s accounting and finance functions for 10 entities.

· Oversee monthly and yearly financial accounts, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.

· Ensure accurate and compliant consolidation of group finances and management reporting.

· Analyse consolidated financial data for management reporting.

· Prepare consolidated financial statements and provide insights on the Group’s financial performance.

· Supervise Group tax compliance, planning, and accounting.

· Align accounting policies for all entities, including overseas subsidiaries, with Group policies.

· Analyse financial data to support strategic investment decisions and enhance fund performance.

· Handle statutory reporting, including GST and government statistics/surveys/grants submissions.

· Collaborate with external stakeholders in tax and audit functions to ensure statutory compliance.

· Support business units in reviewing and analysing project profitability.

· Assess implications of new or revised accounting standards for the Group.

· Establish, review, and revise group accounting policies and procedures.

· Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

The Requirements:

· Minimum of 8-10 years of working experience, preferably in the commodities, oil and gas industries.

· Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is mandatory.

· CPA, CFA, or CA Singapore certification required.

· Previous managerial experience is highly desirable.

· Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively collaborate with Chinese-speaking counterparts and stakeholders.

· Proven record of achievements as a Group Finance Manager in resolving financial issues and optimizing processes.
